Ride Entry – 15th March 2009

Distance:25 miles
Wow, how far behind my *target* am I getting? Still, I’m enjoying riding my bikes when I do it a lot more this year. A lot more. And today was good. The humu, despite being old, is a really good offroad bike. Very stable on rocky descents. These tyres are pants though, I’ll be glad when I’ve worn them out. Had to be fast because of family stuff in the afternoon.

least you got out at the weekend -family stuff saw me in clyro chopping wood + seeing my neice.

yeah, you’re right. Got a bit hung up on mileage the last few years. Smiles not miles is definately correct.
Pity you were knocking about in Wales with no bike.

I will admit to being huuuugely impressed by the amount of mileage that you do cover (considering other commitments) but maybe an adjustment to smiles is a better way to head.
absolutely… was an ace weekend over there too – sun as far as the sun could reach.. must be a record, third trip to wales this year with sunshine. I mean what is the world coming to if you can’t rely on wales to provide rain?
