The bizarre thing is that anyone can race as long as they have a BCF race license. You don’t need to be accredited to race. The coach made it clear at the end about what we could and couldn’t do and the general jist was that we’d be allowed to go to more and more advanced and harder training sessions but do not expect to be doing any velodrome racing outside the winter league, unless the BCF approach you, he said with a laugh.
